Payment policy, charges and refunds

Full payment is required before any hosting service is supplied, including renewals. All hosting plans are paid for either monthly or annually in advance. We can accept credit cards via PayPal or bank transfer.

If you pay via bank transfer, a tax invoice will be sent to you by email 15 days before your hosting account expires. If we don't receive payment before expiration your account will be suspended until payment is received. There is no charge to reactivate a suspended account. If you pay your account by monthly payments your PayPal account or credit card will be charged automatically on the first day of the following month.

Additional features may be added to hosting packages at any time. Riches Hosting reserves the right to change prices at any time.

Pro-rata charges

Initial invoices will include a pro-rated amount to the first day of the next month. For pro-rating purposes, each month consists of 30 days. If you order after the 15^th day of the month, your invoice will include a pro-rated amount for the remaining month plus the full monthly fee e.g.:

New account ordered January 18th, hosting charge $25 per month
12 days remaining in month, pro-rated amount 12/30 x $25 = $10
First invoice will be $35, future monthly invoices from March 1^st will be $25

Yearly accounts will be pro-rated in the same way, with all accounts being charged a pro-rated amount plus the full yearly amount from the first day of the next month after the order is placed e.g.:

New account ordered January 12th, hosting charge $250 per year
18 days remaining in month, pro-rated amount 18/30 x $250/12 = $12.50
First invoice will be $262.50, future yearly invoices from February 1^st (of next year) will be $250

Refunds and cancellations

To cancel your account, login to your Client Area, select 'My Hosting Packages' then view the details of the plan you wish to cancel. Click the 'Request Cancellation' button at the bottom of the screen.

No refunds will apply to cancelled monthly accounts.

Annual accounts may be eligible for a refund depending on the unused full months remaining in the hosting package e.g. if your renewal date is July 1st and you cancel your account before June 1st, we will refund you ¹/₁₂ of the annual hosting fee.

If your account is cancelled due to a violation of our terms of service no refund will apply.

Domain names

Domain names are effectively leased for a certain period from the domain registrar, and for this reason they are unable to be refunded once they have been registered. Please ensure that your selected domain name does not contain any spelling errors and that you have chosen the correct name before confirming your order.

Riches Hosting reserves the right to amend this payment policy at any time.
